Racesquare Rotterdam is now open at Hollywood Event Center

The largest virtual racing experience has opened its doors in Hollywood Event Center. With no fewer than 60 F1 sims as well as four full-motion simulators it’s the spot for racing fans.

The technology behind the racing simulators is the latest on the market for a competitive round of racing with friends, family or colleagues. This includes the use of 4D elements, such as smoke, light effects and force feedback. Thanks to the onboard radio, racers are in constant contact with each other.

Co-Founder Niels Roodenburg: “Racesquare Rotterdam has been a great success right from the start. Because we could hardly handle the increasing demand we decided to expand the establishment to the largest Racesquare to date. This allows us to respond to this immense demand and offer even more groups a real-life race battle.”

“Our target group is very broad. From Formula 1 fans to competitive groups of friends and staff outings. Racing in sims is a fantastic experience for everyone. To meet the growth of the market, we are now fully equipped again. It’s an impressive sight, all those sims together, and gives a wonderful vibe here at Hollywood Event Center. We are looking forward to offering the Rotterdam fans a cool experience!” Says marketing manager Gabriel van Meerwijk.

Thanks to Racesquare’s racing simulators, racing fans can try their luck at any race track in the world. The images of the circuits provide a true-to-life experience, also by adding yellow flag situations and crash warnings. Headphones allow participants to communicate with each other while racing. This is handy, because with the amount of simulators, the race grid in Rotterdam can accommodate large groups. Of course, it is also possible to come and race with a smaller group. “The expansion of Racesquare fits exactly into the vision we have for Hollywood Event Center,” van Meerwijk says. “It is a place where high-end leisure and hospitality come together in one stunning location.”
