Salvador Dali, Rene Magritte, Max Ernst, Joan Miro … famous surrealist artists brought together in a wonderful fantasy-world exhibition called Gek van Surrealisme. A unique display with hundreds of the craziest best works sourced from private collections and the museum’s treasure vault. From Dali’s fire-red Mae West Lips Sofa to some of Magritte’s top works. A timely exhibition in the year that marks the centennary of the introdution of ‘surrealism’ to the art world.
