After a few years on the rooftop of a former train station, the event has moved to an exciting new venue this summer: the floating pavilion on the Maas river. The Mauritshuis in The Hague initiated a truly special street art project. Across the Netherlands, 20 street artists create new large-scale artworks on 20 walls, inspired by a painting, object or story from the collections of 20 different museums. The National Museum of Photography invited Dalal Mitwally to roam the collection. She chose a 1958 photograph by Violette Cornelius of three Tuareg women in Mali as inspiration. It can be seen in Batavierenstraat in the city centre.
