Metropole Café NRC

Metropole Café NRC

Nieuw Rotterdams Café, aka NRC, is a café-restaurant with a huge terrace, and at the weekend a club where DJs play cool beats in different bar spaces. During the day, NRC is a popular meeting place for young and old; the latter perhaps recognising more readily the black-and-white photos of stars like Bob Dylan and Bob Marley hanging on the walls. The décor is a fun, eclectic mix with seating spread around on different levels. The menu ranges from BLT to saté and fish and chips, and there’s an impressive tart vitrine as well.

Where to find it: Witte de Withstraat 63
