Luus is a new French bistro by Lucas Fonteijn

Entrepreneur Lucas Fonteijn has followed his passion. After years of experience in the local catering and hospitality industry as a buyer for various restaurants, he has opened Luus-Rotterdam.

In November 2021 Lucas decided it was time to quit his job and pursue his dream. He found the perfect premises in a side street of the Nieuwe Binnenweg. His new bistro is located at the characteristic corner of the Ochterveltstraat and Saftlevenstraat. The picturesque restaurant has a beautiful terrace and breathes a French atmosphere.

Luus serves a simple but sophisticated European menu, using many products from local suppliers and producers. Chef Coen Horrevorts prepares dishes like Steak Tartare, Pulpo with chimichurri, bavette with cauliflower, seabass, Gratin dauphinois and moelleux au chocolat, and creme Anglaise.
