ICONS Live brings big nostalgic acts to Het Kasteel

On 3, 4 and 5 June Het Kasteel in Rotterdam will be the stage of the new concert series ICONS Live. Ja Rule and Ashanti, Paul Elstak, Armand van Helden, Martin Solveig and Roger Sanchez will take the stage during this new event. Registration for tickets is now open here.

ICONS Live offers different concerts which are presented as one complete show. Taking place in a unique location, the home of football club Sparta. Each day major international acts, guilty pleasures and house heroes will perform. Most acts are from the 90’s and 00’s that haven’t visited the Netherlands in a while.

Friday June 3

The first day of the festival is dedicated to guilty pleasures. Former TMF presenter Jeroen Post will introduce acts like Snollebollekes and artists who dominated the charts in the 90’s. Paul Elstak and 2 Unlimited are the headliners. Furthermore, 2 Brothers On The 4th Floor, T-Spoon, Twenty 4 Seven with Nance, CH!PZ, Alice DJ en Party Animals will perform.

Saturday June 4

Classic house will dominate the second day of ICONS Live. Besides Armand van Helden, Martin Solveig, Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry and, Felix da Housecat will also perform. Local legend Benny Rodrigues will also be present, as is Housequake (Erick E and Roog).

Sunday June 5

The final day will see Ja Rule and Grammy winner Ashanti perform together, a truly unique happening. Never before they have played a concert together in the Netherlands. They will be joined by Blackstreet and Dru Hill, who will be backed with a 15-piece band celebrating their 25th-anniversary. The local vocal group Re-Play and DJ Superior are also present at ICONS Live.

ICONS Live is presented by Imagination Made Real (IMR), founded by experienced partners Clayton Fredrik and Martin Ruben.
