After a sold-out edition in 2019 with more than 30,000 visitors, this year there will be a completely new De Grote Schijn in the Kralingse Bos. You can stroll in the magical forest from 14 to 31 October.
Last year, De Grote Schijn could not take place due to corona measures. But fortunately, the event can definitely go ahead this autumn. De Grote Schijn takes place in the open air. This means that no corona admission ticket is needed to make the walk through the dark. To avoid queues and to give visitors space, time slots are used.
“If there was one positive thing about the corona era, it was that we all went outside, into the woods, on one of the many walks. We discovered the beauty and power of nature once again. During De Grote Schijn, we let people dream again. We have created a wonderful world far away from reality in which visitors – young and old – can let their imagination run wild” ‘says Director Christophe Van Hostauijen.
Kralingse Bos is the decor of a titillating journey through the dark. The park comes to life during De Grote Schijn. Whispering trees, fascinating light projections and enchanting sounds provide a magical spectacle. Nature plays the leading role and forms the backdrop for an evening full of wonder.
The journey is 2 km long and filled with impressive techniques and mysterious surprises. A unique experience for young and old. The entrance is on the east-south side of the Kralingse Bos, located near the junction of Prinses Beatrixlaan and Stinsenlaantje. Get tickets here.
