Gele Kanarie

In Rotterdam, we like to call a beer a ‘gele kanarie’ (yellow canary). So that’s what you’ll be ordering at this vibrant city café where the beer is home-brewed. This unique ‘canary’ also likes to sing and play: expect live music, pub quizzes and group bingo regularly. It’s the ultimate entertainment while enjoying a beer. Of course, they also use beer in the kitchen. We’re a fan of the delicious mussels in home-brewed blond beer, but the fries with beef stewed in dark beer are hard to resist as well.
