Fletcher Hotel next to Rotterdam The Hague Airport

Fletcher Hotels arrives at Rotterdam The Hague Airport

Fletcher operates over 100 unique Hotels in the Netherlands. But there isn’t one hotel in Rotterdam. Until now. With the acquisition Wings Hotel next Rotterdam The Hague Airport and plans to build a Fletcher Hotel Rotterdam-Airport there soon will be two hotels.

An establishment at an airport is new for Fletcher Hotels. The service will be more complete this way. “With this acquisition, Fletcher not only has an airport location for the first time. But also a location in Rotterdam for the first time. As a resident of Rotterdam, I am naturally very proud of the fact that we can now also serve the Rotterdam market. The hotels will make our range a lot more complete, and the long-cherished wish of being represented in Rotterdam will also be fulfilled. This takeover brings the total number of Fletcher hotels in the Netherlands to 108,” says Rob Hermans – CEO Fletcher Hotels.

Endless opportunities

As of 1 November, the Wings Hotel will operate under the Fletcher flag. It has 148 modern rooms, including 10 luxury flats. The hotel also has a sports bar, a breakfast restaurant, an attractive à la carte restaurant and a large fitness room.

Fletcher Hotel Rotterdam-Airport is still under construction and will feature the latest technology. Including a fully automated check-in desk, 116 modern rooms, a breakfast room and a mini-market. The hotel will open its doors this year. Both new hotels have a total of 479 parking spaces available at the airport. No other Fletcher hotel is located so close to an airport.

Both new hotels offer endless business opportunities because of the richly equipped meeting rooms, boardrooms, offices and events hall. The location, next to the Airport and between the A20 and A13, is in the middle of the Dutch business network. It’s easy to reach for international business guests.

For leisure guests, too, the location is central in a versatile environment. From the hotel, both the city centre of Rotterdam and the green countryside can be reached quickly.
