Enjoy summer on the courtyard

Het Industriegebouw is an iconic post-war office building on the Goudsesingel, designed by famous architect Hugh Maaskant, who was also the designer behind the Groothandelsgebouw (next to the central station) and the Hilton Hotel.

Be sure to explore this up-and-coming spot. Rotterdam-based concept store GROOS holds residence here, as does the city’s newest breakfast bar By Jarmusch and food concepts Old Scuola (pizza) and Alfredo’s Taqueria (tacos). Elsewhere, the building is filled with creative start-ups and design companies.

And while you’re there, it’s a great idea to enjoy the sun on the outside terrace. The shared courtyard is an amazing place to get together with friends. It’s accessible through By Jarmusch and Alfredo’s Taqueria, so whether you’re having breakfast American diner style or are enjoying Mexican tacos, take your drink outside and enjoy the sun.
