Calaboose in Inside Rotterdam

Calaboose

Satés and cocktails are a divine combination, especially if served by the ‘Saté Man’ together with shakers from cocktail bar Dr. At Calaboose. Take a seat at the restaurant’s detached building or ‘tropical’ inner garden and dine on Indonesian dishes with a twist (saté ajam, babi, gado gado, rendang, sajoer lodeh). Drinks include the Honeymaker (a variation of the whiskey sour), or a Dr. Mandoffee (with Mandarine Napoleon, coffee liqueur, mezcal, lime juice, and a rozemary & sea salt syrup). With approximately 48 different cocktails on the menu, there’s plenty to choose from.
