Ayla
This is one of the newest cocktail bars in town – it opened in November last year – but it is already very successful. Ayla is a Mediterranean restaurant and bar and was nominated for the Entree Awards, in the category Best Cocktail Bar. The interior of the bar is an eclectic mix of cultures and styles from Casablanca, Beirut, New York and Barcelona. This smorgasboard reflects the bar’s location on Kruisplein, one of the city’s most multicultural streets. Maybe the best thing about Ayla, beside the cocktails, is the location. It is right in the centre of the city and just a couple of minutes walk from the central station.
