Bisou Urban Bistro brings Caribbean cuisine to Hillegersberg

On the Kerkstraat in Hillegersberg Pamela Schipper will open Bisou Urban Bistro on the former location of El Mercat. At Bisou, the restaurant and bar come together with fine wines, cocktails and shared dining.

Starting mid November, Bisou will open its doors to the public 5 days a week. Owner Pamela Schipper has spent years helping multiple businesses in different departments with her company. She specializes in sales, hospitality, and events, and together with her manager Junior Vitters and chef Junrick de Windt she decided to open her own business. On the menu, foodies will find an exciting mix of Caribbean cuisine. This means lots of color and surprising ingredients combined with contemporary bistro classics.

The interior has been taken on by the team themselves and thus transformed completely. Creating a Caribbean world with a restaurant, the loft, and a spacious bar. The bistro exudes a cozy and relaxed atmosphere but combines this with the colorful tones of the graffiti wall and handmade decorative elements.
