Pad Thai, please

Pad Thai? Yes please! Here’s where you’ll find it in Rotterdam!

Thinking about a holiday in Thailand and all its amazing street food? We bet pad thai is the first thing that comes to mind. No need to buy a plane ticket. You can also score your favourite Thai dish in Rotterdam! These amazing and authentic restaurants serve the best Pad Thai in town.

Thailand
This hidden Thai gem in South Rotterdam is definitely a must-try. Eatery Thailand will definitely surprise you with its amazing flavours. The food is authentic and their Pad Thai is mouth-wateringly delicious. Close your eyes, and you’ll be transported to a Bangkok alley or beach on the Gulf of Thailand. The rice noodles are exactly how they should be, and the bean sprouts, egg, tofu and peanuts just have the right seasoning. When the sun’s out, head to the terrace and enjoy Thai delicacies well into the evening.
Zenostraat 208 (South), Open: Wed-Sun from 4 PM, +31(0)10-7513788, eetcafethailand.nl

Deli Bird
No unnecessary luxuries or useless decorations, just honest and pure Thai food. Deli Bird brings daily life in Bangkok to the Rotterdam Deli square. We don’t know exactly what their secret is, but for many locals, Deli Bird makes the best Pad Thai in the city. The place is small, noisy and hot during the evening, guaranteeing you an authentically Thai experience!
Delistraat 46c (Katendrecht), Open: daily 5 PM – 9:30 PM, +31(0)10-4855288, delibird.nl

My Thai Son
There’s no such thing as one Thai kitchen – every region in the country has its own dishes, ingredients and preparations. At My Thai Son you mainly taste the northern Thai kitchen with its exciting Burmese and Chinese influences. Just be sure to let them know how much heat you can handle, and they’ll adjust it to your liking. Savour your delicious Pad Thai in a stylish environment. The perfect place for a night out while talking about your next holiday to β€˜the land of smiles’.
Mariniersweg 74a (Centre), Open: daily 4:30 PM – 10 PM, +31(0)10-4147030, mythaison.com

Soi 3
Served in a hip, fresh and breezy atmosphere so characteristic of modern Thai food bars, the Pad Thai from Soi 3 is simply amazing. Just like the other authentic Thai dishes they make. If you’ve gone a little overboard on the chilies, head to the small terrace for a little refreshment. The prices are very β€˜Thai’ too, so don’t worry if you’re craving their Pad Thai twice a week from now on.
Kruiskade 63 (West), Open: Daily 4 PM – 9:30 PM, +31(0)10-2136596, soi-3.com

De Kleine Ondeugd
The Dutch name of this restaurant (meaning β€˜the little hellion’) wouldn’t suggest they serve great Thai food here. But they do. And they’ve been doing it for the past twenty years. So head on over to this sweet little bistro and order the consistently delicious three or four-course menu. The table will be full of tasty dishes, so choosing a favourite will not be easy. The menus are always a surprise, always made with fresh and seasonal ingredients, and you’ll always be able to choose a preparation of pad thai.
Oostzeedijk 348 (Kralingen), Open: daily 5 PM – 10 PM, +31(0)10-2130718, dekleineondeugd.nl
