Old Dutch

Old Dutch
The iconic Old Dutch restaurant has been a beacon of traditional Dutch hospitality since 1932. Resembling a whitewashed farmhouse, Old Dutch has a dark-brown oaken interior, stained glass windows, and beautifully starched linen and candles on the tables. Loyal clients, business folk for the main part, praise the restaurant for its huge homemade veal croquettes (β€œsubmarine-size,” according to one diner) and lobster soup prepared at your table. There’s more on the menu besides these classics, such as European lobster with burrata and grilled sea bass. This convivial bar-cum-bodega is a popular meeting place for Rotterdammers.
